Growth

After the morning parade and lunch with family, Ricky, Keegan & J.B. were out looking at a house in the neighborhood. When I saw them, it struck me how much Keegan has grown!

Not only has he grown to nearly as tall as his dad, he is maturing into a really great young man! It is a bittersweet time for a mom. Entering high school was a huge transition for us. Now, he is a sophomore and I find myself thinking, "We still have three more years to enjoy."

As I see young children, or think about some things we used to do, I have little flash backs. I see him crawling into our bed on a Sunday afternoon with his 'rags & blankie', laughing as we all tried to rest together! I see him pulling his 'little red wagon' around the yard, collecting rocks and sticks for some reason or other. I am so thankful for those times, and those memories!

  2. Here praying as always!
Psalms 18:28-30 For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall. As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

  3. Continuing to pray!
Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

  4. Stopping by to let you know I'm here praying.
Psalms 57:1-2 Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast. I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.

  5. Praying right now!
Psalms 62:5-8 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
