Happy News!

My friend P, and her foster daughter V, had a play date with her former foster son LM, on Monday! (Got that?) His mom agreed to meet them, so they could spend some time together.

P reports that LM is growing, looks great, and even calls her P now, instead of Momma. (I am sure that was a little confusing with Momma and Mommy being different people)
LM's mom seems to be doing all that she is supposed to be doing, and we are very happy about that.

The other good news for them is that P will have a weekend visitation at her house with LM this weekend! She misses him terribly, so this will really mean a lot to her!

  1. Am so happy that she can still see him.
The Lord will always be there with you! And I'm here praying!
Romans 8:31-32 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Romans 8:35, 37 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ...Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  4. Praying right now!
1 Corinthians 15:55-57 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 12:2-3 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

  7. My heart goes out to P, but she did, and is doing, such a selfless thing and has given L such a great and loving start in life and that has to make a wonderful difference. Now she is making a new and wonderful difference in another childs life. P is loving and blessed and so are the very young lives she touches.

God has blessed her life and I am so thankful for that.
