Are you available?

I have felt like a broken vessel most of my adult life. I was never able to explain how or why I have come through my circumstances with praise to God for them. This man says what I have not been able to: God uses AVAILABLE vessels--it doesn't matter how it is packaged!

As I meet people who seem to have a 'perfect' life; you know, the ones who have achieved their goals, are doing what they wanted and planned, have never had adverse circumstances, etc., I pray that when they hit hard times (we all do), they will acknowledge that God can use any circumstance for His Glory! If we ask, He will help us through. We have to rely on Him fully and ask Him to show us what He wants us, and others, to gain from it. I also believe that we have to be willing to use those circumstances to show others how God works.

Yes, I am a miracle...and so are you! It doesn't matter the package, just be a willing and available vessel!

  1. I've seen this before...no matter where we are in life or what we're going through there are so many who have it so much worse than we do.
    Know that I'm here praying!
Psalms 31:7-8 I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities; And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.

  2. Continuing to pray as always!
Psalms 31:9 Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.

Psalms 31:14-15 But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God. My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.

  4. Turn to our only refuge! Praying!
Psalms 62:6-8 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
