Road Trip...Part 3

Ah-ha, a captive audience! Denyse, the 'Bubba Built' picture was for you--I immediately thought of you when I was bringing out the camera, because you are so good at catching stuff like that. Ok, now, Part 3:

When we finally arrived back in Texas, we started looking for our way to Carrollton. We took 35E from Denton, into Lewisville. I loved how Lewisville Lake looked, so here is a picture of that:

The trick was to wind our way to Carrollton; the surprise was ending up on a Toll Road! Grrrr...And to top it off, they only have cameras to take your picture and send you the bill, so who knows how much that one cost us! We finally found our way...

...to this dead end road! I was laughing at how this road trip really was turning into a story for my blog! Ricky wasn't laughing so much...

We looked at the map, and the directions from Google map, and thought we knew which way to go...

I admired the fancy street lights...

And all the heavy equipment used to make the streets...

The streets were like a maze we were trapped in and could not escape! When we finally found our 'out', we realized we were in the Castle Hills addition. This meant nothing to us, but would be important the following day, for the next road trip. We headed back to town, tired from a very busy day on the road!

  1. You're having fun dragging this out, aren't you?!
Know that I'm here lifting your family up in prayer!
Hebrews 6:17-20 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

  2. Hey girl, you were literally right by my school. We across the street from Castle Hills. Didn't know you were that close to my area of life!
