SPRING BREAK 2012!

Here it is Thursday already and I have not done even half of what I had planned for Spring Break! Oh well, I have been resting and that is probably all I need to do anyway. The past month has been a bit rough, so it is good to have some time off.

One very exciting thing has happened in the last month: The Robowranglers/Robotics team that Keegan has been on this year. They had an open house where they unveiled the 'Scorpion' robot. I was blown away! The team has 35 students, and several engineer mentors that have 6 weeks to
build a robot that plays a predetermined game. They have weight and size specs, but that is pretty much it.

They went to the Alamo Regional at the end of February, in San Antonio. I was able to watch the live webcast--I could not walk away! The Dallas Regional is at the end of March, so I am excited to see them in person!

This video shows the blue alliance making history with the first triple balance (they did it 3 times!) Our robot is #148. Watch this in full screen~

When Keegan joined this year, I was hesitant because it takes so much time; but what a great experience for him! Very proud of our students!

  1. That was very exciting! Way to go, Keegan!
The Lord will always be there to get you through whatever you have to face. Praying!
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
