Walking (And Stretching): Day 6
After resting my feet over the weekend, I got back to my walking this morning. It was another beautiful day! I stretched more before starting, and tried something a little different. Stretch a little, walk a little; stretch a little, walk a little. I still walked the same area as I had been, but by stopping to stretch, it helped me get through it with less pain. I figure shorter distances are less stressful on the joints, so maybe I can tolerate it every day.
When I got home this afternoon, I called to get an appointment with my doctor. One thing about having a great doctor is that she is always booked solid! So, next week I will have her look at it and be able to report if what I am doing makes it worse, or tolerable.
I took my Spanish notes and studied vocabulary along the way. It passed the time more quickly. I will keep doing that!

You don't have to push the speed. Just go as slowly as you need to! I think it's fantastic that you're fighting through this! Hopefully the dr can give you some help so that you can keep up the walking!

Praying right now!
ReplyDeletePsalms 27:13-14 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
